Yi En Asian Cuisine. So happy they reopened for pick up. I was missing chinese take out, and ordered from Yi En. I was thinking how it cost more than regular chinese take out. But then I was like holyship! The difference in taste and texture was enormous. I’ll never go back to regular take out again.
Their sashimi is quite good and I often find myself comparing other places to Yi En when I eat somewhere else. Their rolls are good but I am not much into that (no avocado for me) but I’ve tried it and it is pretty good as well. Their Sashimi for Two meal could easily feed 3 people. Their Chinese food is also quite good but I have to watch what I eat. My favorite meal is “Basil Beef”. I don’t know what they do to make it so flavorful and tender but it is a very addictive dish. They also make good scallion pancakes. Many Chinese restaurants deep fry theirs and I won’t eat them. Yi En seems to pan fry theirs only slightly so they are slightly crunchy (unless you get take out… the heat makes them lose their crunchiness). I have never tried their hibachi side but I assume it is quite good as it is massively crowded (and noisy) on the weekends.
